Navigator fuel filter

How many are using this filter? It is about twice the size as stock.... Oh it's the 98 Navi...

dont matter
just it dont fit in the filter holder thing

I use one too. It's definately got more filter area than a stock one.

(You'll have to get a large worm gear clamp to hold it on)

You can also try this NG motorsports kit , which includes all braided line , adapters and a 14" long - reusable filter that hold 200 times more dirt than a stocker.

whats invoved in cleaning that thing?


and yeah, I had the Navi filter on there once.... it works fine, just doesnt fit very well..... I switched back to the oem size

Just blast the stainless steel element with .98 cents carb cleaner from the inside out and screw it back together, thats it. Good as new.

Its not on thier website yet, but believe me they have them there if you call, I guess its a top secret mod.

You mena this one



yup, I uses it.

The OEM clamp will (with some muscle) clamp on to the side and I use wire ties to keep it there.

I saw that "NG motorsports kit " on ebay a few times now. I remember seeing it gor for over $400 dollars. Hopefully do to the fact it is so new, that was the going price. Now that we all know about it, I hope they bring that price down.
