Talking my first kill with new tune, poor WS6

the Ls2.com boys "PCB Gang" talk smack to me every single day about my red 00 lightning. So this sunday i went out to find them, and sure enough i did. After chatting a while and showing off my new Dyno sheet 400/500 club one of them swore up and down it was still no competition for his heavy bolt on, nitto drag wearing 2001 ws6.
So we wandered out and about and found our first red light and went, he jumped hard about 1/2 car and then shifted and fell back 1/2 a car and by 100 i was 1 full car ahead!! HELL YEAH

he said we would go again because he had a bad launch so we did and the exact same thing happened again

the look on his face after second run.... "Priceless"

Now i can proudly sport my new tag 8UR SS

P.S. the only car so far that i have seen tail lights from is a blue WRX sti running around town He jumped out about 2 1/2 and i played catch up the remainder of the run WOW

Very nice kill. The gearing in those cars kill them. Get some slicks and that STi will be a different story!

Nice Kill, and welcome aboard. You'll find some here that really like street racing, but we don't all have access to racetracks. Sometimes you've just got to show them dumb a$$es what our L's will do because they just wont listen. I've heard those WRX's can be a handfull.

Just wondering, what mods you got? I raced one three times, 0-100. Every single time, he jumped on me about 1/2 to maybe 1 car length and it stayed dead even till we stopped around 100. I was BONE stock. Paper filter, boost bypass still running. Nice kill.

I too live in Panama City Beach. Is the WS6 black? I have raced him in my 2001 cobra before I sold it. I haven't done anything but a catback to mine, but I would like to meet up with these guys for fun. Do you know any other L owners here in town?
