install O2 help (passenger side)

I cant get to the passenger side front O2 sensor (before cat), cannot get a wrench on it.

How do you remove it?

Do I have to drop the exhaust, and if so, how?

Thanks

Not sure if you've tried taking out wheel well and going through there. dropping the exhaust would be a major PIA IMO.
I know unplugging it when doing LTs was a PIA, can't remember how wrench access would have been though, cause I just unbolted from manifolds & sawsalled the pipes, dropped them with o2s still in.

drivers side took about 10 minutes (oly because I kept burning myself on the hot exhaust)
Passenger side... PITA>

How to remove pass. side O2.

remove tire
remove plastic inner fender well.
Turn Tire all the way to the Right.
Get a 7/8 Wrench, Cut it in half.
Literally Get the hacksaw and cut it in 1/2.
Or use a stuby wrench.
Get the wrench on there, If it is stuck, Get a pipe about 1.5' long, put it under the wrench and the midle of the pipe should be on the frame.
Get a hammer and a Few whacks, Will break it loose.

Unscrew, Unclip the wires, install the new one, Reverse.

Thanks. I went out and removed the inner fender housing and then read your post!

A Full size wrench WILL NOT FIT!

I have an old tool box with many a cut, bent, ground, smashed, and broken tool. It's just a normal thing when your a part time gearhead.

Plus sawing the wrench in half will take out some of the frustration of repeatidly burning yourself when you did the drives side.
