1999 or 2000 RPM for MPH

I went back to the standard 295/45 x 18 tires . I had 305/55 x18 on previously. May computer was programmmed fro the larger tire size. Next week I will get the computer re-programmed. However, I am asking for some information formt 1999 or 2000 Lightning owners with the 3.55 rear axle and 295/45 x 18 tires.

Would you please tell me the RPM for the following speeds:
40
55
65
75
80

Thanks.

Ron

I don't have direct data, but with the lack of observational input, derived data might help.

I'm running 285/60/18s, that turn 641 revs per mile. The orignal 295/45/18s turned 709 revs per mile. I run 2050 rpm @ 75 mph. I have a 2KL with 3.55s.

2050/641 x 709= 2267 rpm @ 75 mph.

2267/75 = 30.227 rpm per mph in OD.

40 mph = 1209 rpm
55 mph = 1662 rpm
65 mph = 1965 rpm
75 mph = 2267 rpm
80 mph = 2418 rpm

305/55/18s should turn about 646 revs per mile.
Hope this helps some.

BTW, I have a red L, so it will be slightly faster at any mph than other colors.

I don't trust giving you my RPM cause my tires are wrong.
