slicks and no traction bars?

hers what i got, 1/8 mile run, can i do it with slicks and no traction bars?

do tracks even allow that? i wouldn't even think about it.

Yes. They typically don't allow slicks without a drive shaft loop though - cuz that's what you're risking breaking - ESPECIALLY with that high stall converter.

I run ET Streets without either traction bars or driveshaft loop at the local track. I have to get a loop soon though, but I do not think traction bars will help me with my 60'.... or am I completely wrong about that? Currently pulling a 1.83 60' with a 12.66 @ 109.

You can do it, you can have all the axle wrap you want and fix it when your done!!!

Man I wouldnt do it, get some truk traks or something, maybe one time if your dying to try it or something..

but order the bars today!!

Don't Try it with an aluminum driveshaft....

You may be able to get away with it with the 99-00 steel shaft, but I would recommend buying traction bars.

Dont Try it. Your risking seriously screwing something up with all of the axle wrap your going to have

axle wrap will cause your driveshaft to break, when it goes and you DONT have a loop, then there is a big possibility of it either doing serious damage or flipping the truck upside down. ive seen it happen

If money is the main problem then you should check out rpm outlet. they sell Lakewood traction bars for 95 bucks and they work excellent.
