Launching plugs!
hey good evening guys, can someone please help me in what to expect on the turnaround on replacing a cylinder head for my 2002 lightning.Theyve already had the truck for two weeks and the service rep is giving me the major runaround. He told me it would be ready this past friday or monday. Now he is saying thursday of this week. Secondly are you guys getting new enigine or replaced cylinder heads? My trcuk is mildly modified(stock chip)with only exhaust being no cats and bassani. Please any help is appreciated! Thanks!
It depends. If they are replacing the head or just doing a heila-coil (sp?).
Since it's taking them a while I suspect they are waiting on a new head to arrive.
Don't sweat it too much. I'd rather have a new head than to have it patched.

Keep your head up bro.
If I remember correctly, my truck was at the dealership for about 2 weeks. I enjoyed beating on the Sable rental car though. You will get your truck back soon enough, be patient. Sometimes parts don't come in when they are supposed to. That is not the dealerships fault. -Mat-
