Question TB Question

I had my throttle body removed and cleaned because it needed it. I was expecting better or at least the same throttle response however.... it is not as good as before it was cleaned. The boost guage seeems to climb but the acceleration seems slower. From about a 40 MPH punch it seems OK. Any ideas? TPS? I also had my fuel filter changed at the same time. Thanks in advance for the answers.

Check your TPS voltage. I set mine at .98V

I think you mean 0.980V or 980 mV.

I'd say check the TPS voltage also. It should be 0.96V to 0.98V.

Stupid Question, what should the Idle be at when setting TBS voltage?, or doesn't that affect it?
I know mine was at 1.25v And couldn't get it below 1.23v, I think my Idle is around 800rpm

Did you remove the TPS when you cleaned your throttle body? If not you can rule out the TPS, however I would check it anyway.

Is this a stock TB? Make sure the blades are opening completely and the throttle cable is not binding any where.

I had to drill the screw holes larger to get enough play to adjust it. I set it with just the Key on. Not running
