Power Coolers

Anyone other than JLP sell the Power Cooler type device? The fuel cell type intercooler fluid chiller.

I've seen quite a few Lightnings using the fuel cells that can be bought at Summitor Jegs. They are mounted in the bed and instead of using ice, frozen bottles of water are dropped in, as not to dilute the antifreeze.

Not as user friendly as JL's, but alot easier on the wallet.
Just another option

The fuel cell is open inside right?
I am guessing you are running water through the intercooler instead of radiator fluid?

Thanks

You have to run some coolant to lube the pump .And yes the cell is open on the inside.

Jegs and summitt sell "fuel line coolers" that might work well. Fill the small container with ice/water, it has multiple coils of 3/8" tubing to chill gas. Why not for the IC fluid also? My only concern is the diameter of the line. Is that big enough, or will it restrict the flow? What is the size of the lne to and from the IC?
