a buddy of mine is making me an efan i have a question how long will it take for this mod to kill the battery in the staging lane?? and also do i need the cobra r pump??

 

I can't answer that, but I can say we got batt that'll take a licking. Case in point, I leave my Nitrous Bottle Warmer on for a good 5 - 10 minutes in the pit before even getting in the staging lanes, then leave it on the entire time in the lanes. Never had a problem, can't tell you exactly how much it draws except,
IT's A LOT.
I'll also add, I watch people w/ L's leave the fans on for quite some time at assorted tracks, and never saw one kill a Battery YET

Killed the battery twice at the track
The last time, I got some brothers with a 10.90 early model Corvette to jump me. Every thing was good, until they saw it was a Ford......then the chit started. That is, until they saw a blower on top of the motor and I told them what my times where. I think there were 3 guys with a new found respect for Ford pickups after that

The battery is 3 yrs old, so it might be time for a new one

 

You should dump the fan gator, and get a Bottle

 

It seems to me, you need the bottle to stay with me.

My heat exchanger and fans only help when the truck is hot, as on the street. We race with cold motors.

The radiator electric fan helps, because its less rotating mass

MY cat back is worthless for power, but its sounds so much better than stock. The long tubes might help a little.

You got a 4 lb lower with a 2 lb upper = 6 lbs
I got a 6 lb lower with a 1 lb upper =7lbs

You got a CAI, I got a CAI

You got a FTVB, I got a FTVB

You got 58" traction bars, I got 58" traction bars

You got a chip, I got a SCT

So you see my friend, YOU NEED the bottle, just to keep up!!!

Tell you what, you run without the bottle against me with my street tune. This street tune. What ya say?
