Any update on the chart. Something I would like to cut-paste-and print. Thanks for doing the leg work. I hope you can come up with a usable product with the correct input

Great post re-visited

One thing no one seems to talk about is,
whats good for me MAY NOT be good for you,
(even if we have identical mods)

For instance my truck ran like total schitt with TR-6's from the second I installed them, yet for others they Love them.

My truck runs amazing with Denso IT-22's, yet other's
don't like them.

and so on......

Mine are gapped at .038 - .040 and run flawless from 600 RPM to 6000 RPM. I sometimes run 4lbs of pulley with one program,
at other times my more aggresive program, sometime I run 6 lbs with one program, at other times my more aggressive program, Take those 4 combinations and double them because I've run all 4 set ups with and without Nitrous.
SO FOR ME, Denso is clearly the best plugs out there, but for you it may not be.

As for Spark blow out, NO PROB with a Multi Spark Ignition,
they fire correctly up to 1.00 Gap

Third Summer on the same set of plugs, so obviously the Denso's (and my large Gap) work well for me, even with all the Nitrous I throw at it.

You both may be right. Found on the Web:

Now you know why I stopped trying to figure out a chart for all of us to use. EVERYONE HAS A DIFFERENT IDEA WHAT PLUG IS WHAT.

I see that

All I want to know is what plug for a 2#, but if the factory plugs are as cold as it appears then maybe the safest is to not change them.

Rob,
Aren't you also running a Plasma Booster. Does that also have an effect on how the plugs perform?

i was also told that TR6's are one heat range cooler
and to gap them 35,000 also with my current set up
4# lower, 2.80 upper w/ anderson power pipe and Pro M 80
seeing about 14-15 on the autometer
safe tune 404/505 on the mustng dynometer

4k miles on them with no problem exept cold starts give a rough idle at first and then warms up and runs great (could be chip, could be plug?) dont know

although i might try the I-22's next round but ouch $
JDM said i could run the same TR6's (gapped 35K) w/the Magnum w/ no problem at all

hope so, cause im gettin ready to find out real soon

my gap

Ok, so if I go with the br7ef plugs with a #4, CAI and FTVB what should the gap be.... is 0.038 still the proper gap.

Does this go for the tr8ix plugs as well?
