Raising the rear

I have a belltech 3/4 drop and the truck sits level. I would like to see it with a little more agressiveness by lifting the back about an inch or 2 max. Is there a way of doing this with the kit i have, or am i gonna have to buy new shackles, i thought i read somewhere that there are two choices where the shackle connects and one gives u a lower drop than the other. Thanks guys.

Unbolt the leaves from the shackles and install them in the other hole. I believe the lower hole will raise the truck up. If you are already there, then maube try a 2" rear shackle in that location. If that doesn't work, then you have yank your shackles and start over again putting the 2" drop shackles back in the stock location.

If you want more than you can get with going up to the next hole on the shackle, I would have to think someone around here still has their stock shackles that would sell them to you very cheap or even free. That would probably raise you up about 1.5 to 2". I think I still have mine laying around somewhere.

I assume the BellTech hangers are already installed. I'd leave those alone and try to raise it with the shackles.

actually, after talking to my roommate about it, i think i understand how it works now, but one more question, is the height gonna be noticable with moving the peg down one hole. like will it be 1/2 to 1 inch?

You'll get 1/2" height movement per hole at the wheel to fender lip gap.

Just use the stock shackles and keep the Belltech hangers, it will look great.

Idea? That is what I did when the truck had the Belltech kit. 3"2"/4 looked like it was hauling **** around. Got the stock shackels installed and much better.

A nice 2/3 drop.
