KB or Magnum Powers + full exhaust

I am not looking to break any land speed records but I would like to run low 12's-high 11's and trap over 110mph.

The KB is around $3000

MP is $1695 (w/out rotors) and full exhaust (RPM outlet and LFP) is about $1400 or roughly $3100 total for blower and exhaust.

Is the KB really that big of an improvement over the MP or does the performance difference only become apparent once you start getting close to 10's in the 1/4mile?

I have talked to the JDM shop (very helpful and friendly) and they said I should see 450rwhp just by swapping to the MP. There is a lot of info on the KB so I guess my concern is about the MP. Is it worth $1100 more than a ported Eaton (Apten). Can it put me into the 11's as "easy" as the KB will.

Current mods:
5lb lower
predator
lakewoods
FTVB
ds loop
slicks
filter

If I was you I'd go with the MP and full quality exhaust (JDM's full set is very good I've heard)

that'll surely get you into the 11's on slicks with the right tune and pullies. on your stock block.

Talking

Once you get more power with either the MP or KB you better get rid of the lakewoods cause they will not hold up to the power you will produce.

The rear end will rise and unload the tires...

I am going to try the lakewoods but will probably end up getting some 58" traction bars soon after.

Right now I am leaning towards the KB.

I am happy with my MP blower! But then again they are one of my sponsores! I have ran my MP blower for over a year now and love it. If you still have the stock lower end then the MP is for you! Don't get me wrong Last Laborday weekend I put a 16 lb lower pulley along with my 2.69 upper and lifted both my heads putting 26 lb of boost on my motor. The MP will spin what you send it! I was able to see 24 lb of boost at 3300 rpm's on JDM's dyno last summer.

Hope this helps,

Suavy
