I got the E-mail too.
All I know is James Parker aka Bubba aka RWTD, is great people.
He's an AWESOME tuner, and he saved my L's a$$ from blowing up. JP personally spend an entire afternoon on the phone with me the day I melted 3 plugs and almost tossed a motor. Thats when we realized I had the Tune of Death (I had bought from someone else)
Was he concerned in money ---> "NO"
He actually had me mail my chip to him (even know I bought it and the program elsewhere) AND HE TUNED IT FOR FREE...........

THATS A TRUE LIGHTNING BROTHER

Personally I don't care to know about his personal personal life,
but it sounds like someone real close to him is dieing or very sick, and I don't think people should be making a f.ucking joke of this

My thoughts and Pray are with You and Your Family Bubba

James from RWTD is the one in the posted news articles. However that's not what the "news" was that was being e-mailed, as already pointed out.

James is a great guy and a personal friend, and I wish him well in his new marrige, and I send him a big congrats.

As for the other news, I hope James has the strength to pull through is this tough time. My grandmother and father both passed away while I was in KC earlier this month, so it's always tough dealing with family thats close to that point, or has passed on. Best wishes to James.

Hey, Bubba's personal life is just that to me, his life. I may not agree with everything he does but I bet that a lot of people out there don't like everything I do either.

Heck I have been bashed for spending a lot of time in Hooters. At least I know what I like.

His Grandmother is very sick right now and he is doing the right thing and spending some time with her and the family.

Hope all is well.... he has done a great job tunning my truck in a timely fashion and that is all that matters to me. Hell he is one of the few vendors that actully answers the phone.

Well said Ivan, James's personal life is just that PERSONAL, he has always done right by me and I will continue to support his business and I consider him a friend no matter what his life choices are.

hmmm

no body was making fun of anyone, but It's obvious that most of us had no idea what was going on. People were wishing him the best and putting him in their prayers........and posting articles about him(if it is him) and gay marriage. Kinda vague don't you all think

I was personally concerned when I saw the post about the gay marriage thing because we all know the tact of some of the people on this board, and i figured if someone didn't really say what was going on, it was gonna get ugly quick. And my "going down the poop shoot" comment wasn't strictly refering this post. No pun intended, it's a phrase I use quite often, if anyone was offended I appologize. I don't know James but illness in the family is hard and I know first hand. Good luck and hope all is well. Just wanted to make myself clear.

I am with Tallemeca on this one. I wasn't trying to make light of anything either. The original post did appear "cloak and dagger" and made no sense at all.

Now that the real deal is cleared up, my best wishes go out to him and his family.

James tuned my Cobra Tuesday. He said a family member is very sick and he has had to travel back and forth to the hospital the last few weeks. Hopefully everything will turn out alright and he will be back. I want to send a thanks out to him for taking some time Tuesday to help me out with the tune.

I know.

That's why I posted the email so it would clear things up.
