Got my white face Wideband Commander installed

Got my white face Wideband Commander installed minus the gauge for now. I'm waiting on a custom fiberglass gauge pod from a friend.

This thing works pretty good, I haven’t got much data logging done, but I like the software it uses to data log on the computer. The kit was somewhat easy to install (especially considering that some of the pictures from the install guide are from a Lightning)

I know it’s not the cheapest wideband solution (I paid 399 on a group purchase), but seems like the most feature packed. It has TPS and RPM inputs, also has a trigger output to trigger Nitrous or water injection. It has a programmable warning light output. It comes with an Auto Meter analog A/F gauge. And last but not least it allows you to data log with your laptop.

Here are some pictures:

This is the software for the WBC using my Flip out DVD for a monitor.

Here is where I mounted the Commander. Its up underneath the dash piggybacked onto a box that looked like a pcm. Its held on with Velcro so it is easily removed.

This is the WBC sitting besides the Auto Meter gauge that comes with the kit

Nice have you data logged a run yet? Are you welding in the bung that comes with the kit or are you replacing one of your 02's

Yes I have datalogged a little bit last night. I'm too rich (10-10.5)between 3000-5000 RPM which I'll get fixed as soon as I have a chance to talk to Sal.

I don't have my gauge installed yet, the pod wont be done for a few weeks, I'm getting it fiberglassed into the dash to make it look somewhat factory.

I had the bung welded in at a local shop.

I start working at Dynojet this Saturday and hope to get in on some R&D work, or some discounts there. Hope to get one of these soon.

What kind of outputs are there that allow you to connect it to the in-dash?

Well I'm using the video output on my laptop hooked to the Aux input on my head unit. There is no video output on the Commander itself.

With it hooked up like this I can keep the laptop under the seat, and have a better view of the software.
