Well I was kinda thinking the same thing. I have been waiting for someone to post the results so I could give him congrats. I had to leave Sunday before he got back from the photoshoot. I will tell you this Saturday SUCKED. It rained out. There were some real bad storms move through. It rained here from around 10 am until close to 7 pm. The opened the gates early sunday so everyone could get a qualifing run. Sunday morning was cold and everyone had to fight a pretty stiff head wind. The track was hooking up real good for everyone(at least the ones I talked with). I did not pay attention to any of classes except for Top Truck. I will also say this, the winner and his wife are two of the nicest people you can know.

I want to say thanks all the in the JDM bunch and the HALO group for a good time(even when we had to stand in 1" deep water on sat).

Jim usually posts the updates and how everyone placed. I would try but I don't know all the internet nicks to connect with the real names.

I got runner up and the fellow who won first place and put and end to my run of terror is a guy named Barn yard from the HALO club. As was already posted....he is a pretty darned nice fellow and was running a race of terror of his own.

The JDM crew had one real long drive from Houston...maybe they will be home before too much longer.

I have to make the drive to Jersey in 3 weeks and it is a 29 hour drive for me.....I bet it is about the same from Houston.

Chris "Barn Yard" Barnes was on a roll. Chris is a low bucks racer who drives his truck to the track and races every time the track is open. He was great on the lights all day Sunday on his way to 1st in Top Truck and was fresh was winning 1st in two events at a local 1/8 mile course Friday night. He also won an award for a Perfect 0.500 light on Sunday.

Congratulations to Chris from Big Bob and the rest of his friends in HALO. A well deserved win.

Well I knew the names but was not gonna let the cat out of the bag until Chris himself posted, I did not want to steel his thunder. 1st round he treed my dad with a .009 light. My dad had a .2 light and ran on his numbers but Chris ran a tenth over his but the light got him. Second round he had a .000 light. Chris is good on the light. I forget what the third round was but he did it right again, to take the victory. Way to go Chris.
