Can anyone help me with the problem that I am having? When I drive my truck and pull up to a spot and put it in reverse, the damn thing shuts off. Has anyone else experienced this problem? I have new plugs, that are all installed the right way. I have a brand new IAC valve. I still need to check the voltage on the T/B, but I dont think that is the problem. I just now figured out that when I put it into 2 or 1, it dies too. Somebody help me please.

 

hmmmmm.

hows it on the top end? Maybe fuel filter? When was the last changing?

Does it idle rough when it does hold or does it die everytime.

I'd check for vacuum leaks.

 

I think it surely could be your TPS voltage adjustment-setting? My first thought was your IAC but you've changed it..........

thanks for the help guys. When i put it in neutral, wait a second, then put it in reverse, it seems to be okay. But if I go from just drive to reverse, it dies. I will check the TPS this weekend and make sure that it is okay. I took it to the dealer before I modded it and they coudlnt find anything. Thanks again guys.
