First mod...Ouch

Hi all, my first post here. Just registered after lurking for quite awhile now. I have gotten a lot of useful information from everyone, so thank you. Well my first mod was replacing the stock radio with a sirius ready deck. I found out that the receiver trimpanel is held on by five metal clips, but no one told me the top is razor sharp I was able to pop the sides of the trim without any problems. But when I tried to run my fingers under the edge of the panel toward the top where it meets the dash, it sliced three of my fingers open No more problems so far, had to stop since the weather went to crap.

From: Colorado,
Welcome! Glad to have you aboard....

Hope you didn't bleed on the seats

Better Luck in the future since you put blood into the introduction.

I hope I have better luck under the hood too D Davis!

Didn't bleed on the seats EZ, but the wife got red hawaiian punch on the carpet right after I bought it I just hope it's not like the mangler and wants more blood

From what I have seen on the boards, I better get pics of the truck and the cut fingers or else no one will believe I own an L

Thanks for the warm welcome. I hope I can contribute eventually, but right now I am still learning.

Thanks for making me laugh so hard D

I finished the deck swap without any more injuries I will get some pics up of the L and the new deck after the truck gets out of the body shop. Some idiot hit me in the rear bumper on the right side, long story
