motoblue quick change pullies

Does anyone know much about these quick change pullies? Any pic of what they look like? Thanks

I've also heard with a 2# people don't change the belt, does that put the tensioner at its limit? Create any extra stress on the blower snout?

Thanks for any info

my biggest problem now is I can't decide between a 2# or a 4#, they are the same price but the 4# comes with a belt, not a biggie but I know everyone says that you'll want more. I was previously thinking of just a 2#.

Maybe I'll have to buy both.

I was debating the same thing. After alot of research and advice from my most trusted tuner, I've decided 4#.

I had a 2lber on my 01L when it was brand new, but as it's usually about the same price and same effort to do as a 4lber, and the 4lber will give greater power, I wouldnt waste my time with a 2lber. Some guys run the 4lber without buying a chip and reportedly have had no problems, but in my experiences and those of many others - get a chip "tuned" for the 4lber and it will really "wake" your L up.

thanks for the advise, I am leaning towards the 4# but I wasn't going to run a chip so I still think the safest would be a 2#.

I would run a chip but around here there is no real place that dyno tunes them (properly) for a L.

How much do you think one would feel with a 2#? Or am I farther ahead not running a pully at all, if I'm only going to go with a 2#.

Thanks for the help.

BTW truck is 03 with only a line mod valve, I do have a k&n drop in but have not put it in yet. Only mods will probably only be those with possible pully and 2" shackle drop.

O DUDE... sorry I never got back to you, I've been 2 busy lately
Go with the 4 and get a predator. I have had great luck with them and 6# pulley's The 4 will be even more conservative but should still get you around the 400rwhp number. I actually picked up 15rwhp on the dyno on a stock lightning with one.
