Anybody ever raced real exotics (Lambos, Lotus, etc)???
Was wondering if anybody raced real exotic cars, like newer Lamborghinies, Ferraris, or Porsche GT2s?
I haven't had a shot at any of these yet and wondering what are the chances with the common mods: 4lb pully, FTVB, chip, K&N filter.
So far all I raced was SRT-4s, WRXs and others of that sort, but summer is definetly here and I see more and more of those exotics everyday so it won't be long... Just wondering how bad it would be. Thanx. KGB.

Im pretty much stock...just K&N and boost bypass. But Ive messed around with SEVERAL corvettes that cannot shake me off thier butts. From lights, they stand no chance...But corvettes aint no real exotic. I was messin around with some younger guy in a business suit in an RS6 the other day...He couldnt lose me either...Didnt pull on me or anything...Cool guy, got the thumbs up. But again, no real exotic...M3's? SLOW. I dont wast me time with ricer cars either...After I upgrade to 4lb, chip, ftvb, hotchkis...Im lookin forward to playin with some higher end cars...anyone else?
Some of my racing buddies ...
500 HP at the wheels ... < grin >

This guy really babied the car last weekend ... But it
was about the coolest looking car there ... Spec times
for the 355 aren't much better than the Lightning's.

This is a serious race car that you see at Road Atlanta
where both Bob and Sarah are instructors.

I played with a 360 modena on the turnpike a month ago.I was on my way to work driving about 80mph,It was dark and raining pretty good.I saw some really low to the ground lights coming up on me super fast so I got out of the fast lane,,,,And when the guy flew by me I thought the hell with that Im going to catch his azz.Well at about 130mph I cought up with him.I dont think he knew I was coming becouse when I got next to him I rolled down my window and when he looked over and saw me in a truck the look on his face was priceless.Anyhow I sqeezed a little more out before he gave me the thumbs up and pulled away like I was at a stand still.
One day when I was just North of Kennesaw, Ga I saw a 360 coming up behind me. At the time I was going around 80 and he was closing fast so I got over in the middle lane to let him pass. As he got closer I decided I was going to make him work to get past me so I as he was passing me I was already going around 100 and he kind of looked over at me at nailed it. I don't think he expected me to pull back up beside him, but I did. We were going about 130 side by side on I-75. We switched positons back and forth for about 20 miles till he decided to get off. Needless to say, I had to stop and get gas, but it was worth it.
I was playing around with a Porsche GT2 when I went through San Antonio one Sunday morning. Headed East on I-10, I seen him coming up pretty fast so I moved over and he slowed down as he was passing me. Traffic was real light so I jumped on the fun pedal a bit and we were off. We took it up to about 130 then back down to about 80. We did this a few times and I kept thinking "hey my L is holding its own". NOT! He put the hammer down again and so did I but this time he just ran off and left me like I was on a bicycle. That's when I realized I wasn't playing with him....he was playing with me! That car was just sick fast! Even though he spanked my a$$, it was still fun as he!!.

I was driving north on I-95 and encountered a newer Acura NSX. The guy was cool... we both waved at each other and then went from a highway start. I whooped him until we were 100+, he had way more top end

Well not too exotic but I did blow the 4 doors off of a Porsche Cayenne Turbo about 6 times in a row from a roll to about 110. He wasn't too far back but he was a solid car length behind if not a little more. The driver was an absolute jackass. Didn't even look over with the corner of his eye to see the $33,000 truck that spanked his $90,000 POS. Sometimes you'll find a cool rich guy here and there but mostly stuck up idiots who don't even see over 4,000 RPM's in their ultra exotics. I myself would rather have an 03 Cobra, A Zo6, or a 98 Supra twin turbo instead of that other overpriced stuff.....even if I did have the money.
I missed out on a race with a Lotus. I was following him on a 1-lane highway for about 15 miles, then when we got to my town, he headed east and I headed west
I imagine he would probably have kicked my *** but I would've tried

Several months ago I raced a 360 modena from a light. At 90mph I had a good 2 car lengths on him. I let off at that point seeing as how I don't like to push my luck on the street, and over 100mph he would destroy me. Still nice to be able to say that I beat a Ferrari though
