Turning off rear O2's with predator?

Well after fiasco # 2 with trying to get a 02 sensor bung installed in my left mid pipe I decided to just remove the left rear O2 sensor and install the wideband sensor there.

The wideband works just fine there but I have the factory sensor just wire tied to the hard fuel line with it just sitting out in the open.

I am assuming I will get a check engine light like this? I do have a predator useing a custom tune, can I just use the predator to turn off the rear 02's without affecting the custom tune?

It should be an option under the custom tune modification.

I've ran an LM1 wideband on my truck several times and never set a code.

I unplugged the left rear O2 and removed it from the truck. I wouldn't leave the O2 attatched.

Drove home from work with the sensor just hanging there and got no light.

The FJO is working great!!!

This truck holds 14.7 wery well it does not bounce nearly as much as my Supra did under cruise / idle situations. Seems as though the ECU has great control at closed loop operation.

WOT has me at 10.9 AFR and 11.2 past 4700rpm. RWTD has got me a safe tune but the damn truck is filthy from all this rain....

Bob, those A/F #'s look similar to the readings on my truck with the LM1. The readings seems to be 1/2 point richer than the sniffer at the dyno. I guess the tail pipes dillute dyno's A/F readings.

Mine holds 14.7 during cruise; tip in just a hair it goes to 14.8~15.0 the starts to get rich when the computer compensates. Mine was right on with the dyno when we tuned my truck. And mine is actually after 1 high flow cat after my long tubes. So I might actually be a little richer than the FJO says.

ok I got a check engine light for the rear O2 being out but I can not seem to find out how to turn them off with the predator.

The "modify tune" prompt is not im my menu list

Thanks Luke,

I figured how to do it last night and actually had to reflash the truck or "modify the tune" it still has RWTD's tune it but it seems I was able to modify it and turn the rear O2's off.

I have been through about 5 drive cycles so far. (driving to work, going to lunch, ect ect ect) and the light has not come back on.

I had a screw in my left front tire so we brought the truck in the shop and I unplugged, cut the zip tie, and removed the factory O2 all together and still no light.

On a side not the Air / fuel is perfect with RWTD tune (11.2 or so) at redline and nice through the RPM range.
