Don`t show off!

The other night, I was pumping gas in the "L" when a hot little Ranger came in, revving the motor trying to show off. It sounded like it had a V-8 conversion, possibley a 5.0L. I figured I was the bigger man so when I was leaving the station I would give him a show too. DAMN-IT! I had it in 2nd gear and the motor over-revved and the truck didn`t go nowhere. All sound and no action. The guy probably laughed his butt off. Oh well, that`s what I get, thought I`d share that with you guys.

It usually does but I was already a 1/3rd of the way into second so it didn`t down shift into 1st. Just stayed in 2nd all the way deep into the red-line. I would of cried if I grenaded the motor.

Thats ok one time in my last truck(5.4 lariat f-150/Flowmaster exhuast) I was cruising down my buddies street about 20mph and decided to throw it in N and rev the motor.Well i did and it sounded great. The only problem is that instead of placing the truck back in drive,,,,I put it in reverse! At 20mph.The truck concked out but started right up when i turned the key.No damage done exept for the fact that 4 of my friends saw it happen.

Haha... IIIII've never done anything like that, but I saw someone do it.
I was washing my truck in the driveway, and some jackwad in a raised silverado decides he's going to put it in neutral and rev as he passes... It went Vrooooom-clunk. I've never seen anyone so ashamed of himself when he asked if he could use my phone. I have no idea what happened, I didn't want to hurt his pride any more by asking. Whatever it was, he needed a tow truck to get him out of it.

I was at the track once when the car I was lining up against blew something on his motor before the tree even started...so they held me there while he pushed his car back out of the way. The tree operator came up and asked me if I was ready, I told him yeah and the lights went...I floored it and I didn't move....I was in park. Guess I put it there and forgot about it...shot the ego through the floor quickly!

Well, my friend, in the attempt to do a burn out in his 3000gt, did the following.

I wasn't paying attention, but a few of us were in his 3000gt when he was like "I'm going to do a burn out right here..."
Me thinking that it's a neighborhood, and some mom is walking her kid right down the street, that's a bad idea. My friend is full of bad ideas. Like the idea of a burn out is revving it up in neutral and slamming it into drive. He had the car for about 2 months, and that was it. We heard a boom, smoke came from his hood, etc. We noticed a substantial hole in his tranny cover, and abunch of crap on the ground. Plus burn marks on the inside of his hood. 6 months and $3,000 dollars later, that whole day is forgetten.

The main reason for this post was to say this: I cleaned and detailed my truck for an hour and a half today, and it remained blinging and shinning for all of four hours, and now it's raining like hell. DAMN IT!
