I am currently running a jlp4# lower, single program superchip, 90mm mass air, cold air intake, boost bypass, oil breather, Jim at jdm burned me a standard chip program with only 2 degrees advance timing. At low rpm's it pinging like crazy. When i get around 40 50 60 mph and put my foot on the gas alittle bit it starts to ping till about the 2,200 rpm mark. When i take the chip out it runs great without any pinging knocking or anything. Does anybody hjave any idea what could be wrong. I went to jdm and ihave to wait till jim gets back for the expert tune. I just changed my plugs, fuel filter, so its something else. Any one have anythinglike this happen to them.

If the problems stop when you take the chip out, then it's the tune. What is there left to solve?
