A BFH to repack the wheel bearings or romove the rotors? Use channel-locks (water pump pliers to some) to remove the bearing cap. If you do it right it will just make two very small flats on the cap. You have to have good pliers and squeeze them tight. For the rotor all you do (after removing the caliper) is pull it off. If you need to remove the rear seal from the rotor just remove the outer bearing and then screw the nut back on a few turns. Then let the rotor drop down on the spindle and pull the rotor toward you. The rear seal and bearing will pop right out.

Got the lightning back last night and had the lower ball joints replaced and bearing re-packed for both fronts. The total was @ 300 for both sides which isnt to bad. I guess ford dealers can now get the greasable ball joints. the part number is

F57Z*3V050*BB KIT-FRT SUSP LWR ARM BL JT

I guess they munge the caps when they take them off cause they were replaced.

13973 CAPS @ 7.94 each

They still failed the inspection for the non working fog light ( I ordered another mustang replacement ) Im heading out this morning to get my sticker from the original place. They thinks its a bit crazy they failed it for that, but oh well trucks back its zaino time

thx all

You know that's just plain stupid. To fail an inspection because of a fog light being out. It's not like it is a headlight or tail light.

What's next? Paint too thin or too many rock chips...
