Need Advice on L Purchase

I am thinking about buying an L but the dealer who hooks me up only has one to sell so I want your advice on it.

The L is a 2000 that makes over 500 rwhp, It has around 25,000 miles on it

I am a 20 year old college student and it has been my dream for a while to own an L. It would be a daily driver probably getting 10,000 miles a year on it.

I am a little concerend about the stress it would put on my financially, Ive never really been a penny pincher.

So I guess the question is, is it worth not being able to eat fast food everday at work and not being able to buy things with out worrying about it? Ive always wanted an L, but I dont want to be finacially insecure too.

P.S. You always need extra money for beer!! (Or atleast I do)

One thing to keep in mind here.. If your that tight to be able to afford it.. Then what will happen if you chuck the motor or tranny? More debt? Then it becomes a heavy burden that you'll easily get fed up with and be "upsidedown" on. (financial term for owing more than it's worth)

I'm not trying to throw a wet blanket on ya.. I've just lived and learned the hard way.

Save your money and buy something cheap and quick. Like a 80k miles mustang 5.0L

If only I could have drilled what I'm saying to you in my head about 15 years ago. But did I listen back then? No...

In my heart of hearts the cars that were the cheapest to own were my favorites.
