Need Nitrous Jet help, and opinions
Need Nitrous Jet help, and opinions
Ok here's my kit 55/65/75 #82021

BTW
Don't believe everything you read
I run 16 degrees of timing w/75HP and 6lbs of Pulley and a Ported Eaton. I've even ran 18 degree's
---------------------55HP-------------65HP---------------75HP
Nitrous Jet--------32-----------------36-----------------40
Fuel Jet------------17-----------------19-----------------21
Retard Timing-0-degrees--------2-degrees-------4-degrees
OK and here's the 82023 Kit
The only diff between the two are the 3 sets of jets you get.
-------------------75HP---------------100HP-------------125HP
Nitorus Jet-------40-------------------46------------------54
Fuel Jet-----------26-------------------30------------------34
Retard Timing-0-degrees--------2-degrees-------4-degrees
Ok so if you compare my 75HP set up vs the 82023 kit 75HP set up, you'll see they recommend no timing retard but use larger fuel jets. (that makes sence, throw more fuel at it, and don't retard the timing) But remember we already know mine runs like schitt with no timing, I need a minimum of 16 at all times, that has been proven over and over on the track w/ET's,
and by the way it runs on the top end,
(I will never run less than 16 degrees spraying PERIOD)
So with that said, If I wanted to go to 85HP, I got it figured that I would need 44 Nitrous, and 24 Fuel
YES, NO, MAYBE ???
Opinions ???
But Zex only offers these jets

One prob with Zex is, no matter how many times you write them,
they NEVER write back. Thats why I bought my Kit from REM way back when.

Rob, I would drop the fuel jet 1 size for each application! they run it rich to be safe then have it tuned! This is advise that a nitrous guru gave me I trust everything he says when it comes to nitrous!
