SVT Daily Driver?
my '03 has got nearly 600 flywheel HP and it is my daily driver (and my only vehicle for that matter).
I drove it though the winter (snow) the first year (not a good idea), and I bought a bronco beater last winter for the snow and sold it in the spring.
if you live in Miami, I don't see any reason why you can't drive the L every day of the year.
if you are worried about chips and such, get the 3M clear bra and drive away!
good luck.

chris

I drive mine all year even through the snow. I simply got a set of steel wheels and some Bridgestone winter duelers and really, this thing is a beast in the snow. Not a problem ever. My 99 was the same!

In two weeks ill be reaching my 1st anniversary with my truck. I just recently passed 21,000 miles. It had 12 miles when I bought it new. Absolutely no problems till now, tires are still holdin up. Its a GREAT daily driver, just sucks alot of gas...but thats fine. IMO ...
. Only problem is im starting to crave something manual shifting. But not a biggy.
50 mile round trip to work every day for the last april... with the mods, and not a single problem other than 3 sets of tires in 23000 miles... lol.
Couple of minor chips in the front bumper cover, but I wouldnt give up driving my L every day even if I did have another vehicle.

I drive mine daily also. Thing that kind of sucks is that I also have a have a Kawasaki ZRX1200R that sits in my garage. I almost never ride it cause it's so damn fun to drive the truck. I got rid of a 2003 Mustang GT to buy the L and I wouldn't even think of going back. Just finished up with the mods and netted 418 HP on 91 octane pump gas. Now, that's a daily driver.
