Question Supercharger Seepage? Normal? Dial-up users BEWARE

Well, I noticed this a couple of weeks ago, and I don't know if it is something I should worry about. Sorry about the low quality of the pics, it was kinda hard to get good shots without too much reflection coming off the engine.

Any opinions? Is this something I should take my L back into Ford about, or is this normal?

My Lightning is a 2004, I bought it brand new back in late February, and it currently has about 1300 miles on it. The only mod is a cat-back Magnaflow exhaust.

Thanks for your help,

Brad

Have you tried re-tightening the front cover bolts?
It could be an easy fix, instead of leaving your truck at the dealer

VERY GOOD POINT
People go in for an oil change,
and come out needing a Motor

Its nothing to worry about, what your seeing is the sealer thats used to seal the case when the blower is bolted together, I know this because I have an extra blower that I took a part and it was sealed with that red sealer.

That is anerobic sealant that is used to seal the snout when they put it togeather. You should be able to take a rag and wipe it off.

Hey Brad. What Speeder told you is correct. He and I took my stock Eaton apart when I installed the ported case. The anebolic sealer is red. I had some oil drip from the SC while taking it apart, and the oil is almost clear. Just wipe it off and you should be good to go. How do you like the sound of the Maggy? I love mine, and speeder went and bought one too after riding in mine. It's almost contageous.

Quit trying to sugar coat the fact that you sold me a Lemon, Mart Man.

Just kidding....

But yes, I do LOVE my magnaflow system, it sounds great. I'm also going get the 4" adjustable JLP shackles, aftermarket washers, cam bolts, and adjustable endlinks for the rear swaybar put on in the next couple of weeks, at which point I'll have my alignment redone since my truck already pulls a bit to the right as is.
