with the headers on.....

i run 15lbs with my KB with stock exhaust...when i get my full exhaust on and i loose the boost say 1-2lbs...will i then be able to change my 4lb lower to a 6lb lower? and regenerate that 15lbs??? i was thinking that or maybe a small shot of nitrous..im also thinking of getting rid of my diablo single chip and getting a programmer..or a flip chip

The boost is still there! Don't let the backpressure drop fool you!

What pulley combo do you have to get 15 psi? Mine stayed about the same when I went with a full exhaust, didn't lose any boost.

i have a 4lb lower and the 3.5'' on top from Kenne Bell...if i slam the gas it jumps right up to about 12-13 and then moves on up to 15 on my Auto meter gauge....i was just wondering..because i have read on here people do loose some boost when installing the long tubes! BUT GAIN SOME POWA!!!!

If you're 15 psi at the top of the gear you're right with me. I'm 17 at the top of the gear with the same 4# lower but a 3.25" upper. I bought the 3.5" upper which will drop it 2#'s or so.

I didn't seem to lose any boost pressure when I had the headers on. I just removed them until I can figure out a way to quiet it down some. And honestly I didn't notice much difference in power, kinda disappointing. Then again, I'm still tweaking the tune so that may be part of it.

I am pushing 15 on a cold night, and 13.5-14 on a 65+ degree day. I have a 3.5 upper and a 6# lower. For xhaust I have stepped long tube headers with high flow cats, and Magna flow cat back.

so comparing your boost levels to mine....you run the same boost i do with a bigger pulley on the bottom...with Long tubes....well...either way when they get on i will see some power gains....i hope!
