Give me a couple minutes. Do you still want the wording on it or not? I think it'll look cleaner with no wording and the concept Lighting badge in the top center.

I also hope your teacher does not notice you spelled "havn't" (should be haven't) wrong. If you're going to use Ford's tag line you might want to spell the words in it correctly.

Also, "...and is the quickest truck..." does not work with the beginning of the sentence. It should read
The Ford SVT Lightning has everything....and it's the quickest truck on the planet." Actually, I'd have used fastest...but that's just me.

What? No SVT Logo?

Other than that

Good eye. Yeah, she really doesn't care so much about the spelling and grammer, but she's focused more on the graphics part.

Yes, I can see that. By the way, it's grammar, not grammer.

It's unfortunate she does not care. Regrettably, this seems to be true of most teachers today. My guess is that they themselves are ignorant and illiterate. They pass this sloppiness down to their students, and each successive generation becomes less proficient at reading and writing. The result is that this nation’s schools are graduating functional illiterates (and I use the term functional with great abandon).

How sad.

However, all is not lost Joseph! Just because she does not care, that does not mean you have to share her disregard for proper writing acumen. Do not allow her laziness to be your excuse! Take control of your life, take control of your actions, and take control of your presentation of self through your written word and your demonstration of scholarship.

So GO!

Study hard!

Learn to spell!

Become well read!

And, most importantly, save your money to buy that third generation Lightning as a backup plan in the event you are unable to do well at school and get that high paying job…at least you’ll be able to get chicks with the truck and get laid.

lol grammar ****

But youre right, people are kind of going down the tubes in terms of proper spelling and grammar, ive noticed it as well. For me it's hardest because when i type formally (for a customer or the like) i always have to check for my "internet typing" which isnt necessarily proper. i dont always capitlize and punctuate etc etc. Makes it difficult to transition between the two, which may be a major cause of it. Kids are typing and iming eachother all the time in their crappy lingo, and maybe that just transfer over to the real world without them noticing.

Readin', Writin' an' 'Rithmetic:

Amen brothers!!

It’s amazing to me how bad so many of us are at these basic, elementary school skills. Even close friends, whom I know to be educated and bright, look like village idiots when I (try to) read their emails. And, of course, forum discussion boards are even worse. Pretty sad commentary on the times.

I would have took the time to "proof read" it, but I was in a hurry and had to get to class. (30 min. away) Oh well.

Hey, no prob Joe. Wasn't really talking about you anyway. Just a general statement. I'm a terrible speller and have to check the dictionary and/or spell check on every other word, it seems. Sometimes however, like in your case, I don't have time to do it and just let it slide.

English useage aside, you obviously have a lot of talent and your Lightning advertisement proves it. My advice: Clean it up and submit it to FoMoCo's advertising department. Might work better than a resume.
