Freak accident, MINOR

We had an incredible wind storm in the Pacific Northwest yesterday. Even had a tornado or two which is very rare. So I was picking my kids up from school and the traffic lights were out all over town. I mean the wind was so bad that it was like a fog due to all the dirt coming off the fields. So I am going down this ho dunk road avoiding traffic lights when bam!!! I drove into a tv cable line hung down over the road. Either it fell on me or I just didn't see it. I get out and see black crap all over the window and a big wide swath down the fender, door and a little on the bed. Then I notice the attenna sitting funny. Yeah it pushed the attenna into the fender somewhat.

On top of that I got a chip in the rear fender down to the fiberglass and I also find when I got home that the stitching has come out of the tonneu cover. Not my day. I got the black stuff of with simple green and rewaxed. My wife help me straighten the attenna base/fender out some what. I guess that I will just take it to one of those dent places. At least no one was hurt, just my ego.

The reason it happened was karma I'm sure. We are getting a Navi but I stopped into look at a Denali, so it must have been the Ford gods unleashing on me. BTW anyone have a forum where the GM guys hang out so I can lurk and read about the problems?

Sometime's it's just not your day. If you need to know anything specific about the Denali you could ask me. I have an 02 pewter Denali. Bought it new 23,000 miles on it now no major problems just a couple of annoying things that went wrong..

Man that really sucks. But, at least no one got hurt. You can fix the truck. I don't think the Ford Gods were mad, unless your planning on trading the L.

No not trading the L just the Wife's Expy. Really having a tough time deciding between the Navi and the Denali. The downside to the Navi is power or lack of and to a lesser degree price. The upside is not many people have one around here.

I haven't driven the Denali yet so I can't vouch for the power good or bad although I hear it is better. I also have to imagine the Denali is going to get a major change soon but I can't find anything out on that.
