I got my 2" Belltech drop shackles this week and installed them today. They dropped the rear just over 1" at the wheels and leveled the truck out fairly well I think. Now I can see over my lid in the rear view mirror again. Since I love taking pics of the L, here's some before and after:

That's all I've done. I don't really want the lowered look for my L but I do like having it look more level like it does now.

The shackles were $60 with shipping, although after I bought them I was searching old posts for installation help and saw that there are other ones that are only $35 (wo/shipping). JLP sells bigger ones which you might need if you have an 03-04. The install was very simple.

 

I got a set of GroundForce 2" drop shackles at PepBoys, $49.99 not bad if you ask me, truck looks good but I need to drop the front now, the rear is about a half an inch lower than the front after the drop.

 

That is how my truck looked too. I installed a set of FRPP lowering springs up front and the truck has a nice stance now. I still may want to go lower though. -Mat-
