Calling stereo guys...got a question...
I'm hooking up my subs and amp but I have to use a output adapter to run some speaker wire too so I can use the box to run some RCA's since the stock stereo does not have any. I need to know where a good spot is to get to the speaker wire for two speakers a left and right. Thanks for any help.
not to sure what the hell you just said.....
but if your using a RCA Adapter it should be hooked up and placed behind the stock radio. i spliced mine right into the wiring harness in back of the radio when i had my old system. then run the RCA's to it from the amp. Then whatever you want to run off the amp.
maybe some clear cliff notes would help?

lol, thanks for the responce. I'm not to good on the stereo lingo, but yeah that is what I ment a RCA adapter, I need to runs RCA cables to the amp. What wires do I splice into. Are they the speaker wires or different ones. Either way I don't know which ones they are. Also, the black wire with the pink stripe is used for the remote wire correct. Thanks!
I am using the stock deck with an amp and subbox. First thing I did was purchase these

These allow you to splice in a low lever to high level line converter such as this one

without having to cut the factory harness. Out the other side of the converter is an RCA jack for left and right. I only did this for my fronts since, I am using the back stock speakers just as filler. Now you can run an RCA cable to the amp. At the end of RCA cable I put a Y RCA cable

Thats what I did and it sounds great.
