Well, I did one of the toughest things Ive had to do in a while, and sold the L. I thought long and hard, but I wanted to buy a house and my debt to equity ratio just wasnt where I needed it to be. So after some deliberation, I decided to sell the L back to the dealer and concentrate on buying my house. Also factoring into the equation was that I recently took a sales job which offered me full use of a company vehicle for business and personal use-it just didnt make financial sense to put a vehicle before a home in the grand scheme of things.

However, I will be back when the gen III's come out, and will look forward to lurking around in the meantime. Be safe and keep 'em shiny side up fellas!!!

 

As much as you may miss the Lightning, you made the right descision.

I did exactly what you are doing. I sold my 01L in Dec 01 to build a house. Now I have the house and a 03 L, so things have worked out in the end.
