350 z quarter in 13.95 sec @ 102 mph

spec numbers aren't a good way to really compare, but just a general idea. I cant find my magazine with the g35 and g35 awd compaison, but just say it handles better, tad slower.
the g35 weighs a goot 300-400 lbs more than the z so it make sense to be slower, it's got a rear seat and a bunch of other stuff the z doesnt have, but it also uses a different chassis so i can see it being able to still handle at least as good as the z if not better.

one thing your right about, not in coupe form, now i cant remember if they tested coupe vs awd g35 or just the g35 sedan against the awd sedan.

Hey ya i have a 01 lightning and my mom just got a G35 coupe, and i have to admit it is an awesome car, very luxurious, and its got some pull too it as well, nothin near the lightning. Not to mention i raced a kid at my school in his black 6spd coupe, smoked him with ease, he comes by later to say he had problems with his traction control and launching it, but WE all know hes just a terrible driver in a somewhat quick car. But great car for a daily driver!

Hey ILLINI-SVT, if you read my post i never said the G would outpull the Z. The Z is faster as it should be. But if you ask me, for the looks and luxury the G offers and with the performance being so close, c'mon, the G is overall a better buy.
de_ve_us, that kid is full of crap, you will beat him with or without the Traction control. The lightning is faster.
Also everybody, i am talking about the G35 Coupe w/6spd and Brembo brakes, not the Sedan. I consider them 2 totally different cars.
