Here's another L poser.....

Not that I go looking for these posers, but happened to notice it when I went to the home page this morning.

Looks like an L from the front:

Then you look at the side and you know what it is:

It's obvious that the black truck is a L poser.

That's no poser...he doesn't have L badges on it. It looks to me like a very tastefully modified truck.

Gimme a break, L wheels, L front end, and side exit exhaust. Looks like someone wanted to imitate an L to me..

Still not a poser, though. If it were a poser he'd have L badges on it. Definately not the route I would go with a stander F-150. I do every thing a little more custom than just copying one of the factory vehicles

fine by me if they're gonna try to imitate us, i just wish they'd do it to where you cant tell unless you open the hood. if you're gonna do it, do it right. that exhaust just hanging down on the side looks like crap. the front shot though does look good though..i like that grill

That's not a poser. He has a bumper cover, wheels and routed the exhaust out the side. Big deal.

I'm with dark. This isn't a poser but he could have done a better job with the exhaust. I'd be looking for ground effects that had cutouts on both sides to route the exhaust on both sides of the truck. I've always wondered why SVT only exited on one side. The gen III prototype has exits on both sides.

I see no problem with it. Personally wouldn't you think he has good taste if he's trying to look like you?

well, sorry to say this but i actually dont think its that bad and i wouldnt classiffy him as a poser. He doesnt have L badges so its fine. It really pisses me off when i see a f-150 thats not an L with an L badge, especially when it looks bad, but he doesnt, he just wants his truck too look a lil better without hurting the L reputation.

From: Colorado,
Wouldn't it be fun to go the other way. Remove your lightning badges, Maybe go with long pipes out the back and get rid of the lower side effects, different wheels.

Then go hunts srt's or even surprise a brother in a L

Ether way. It's no big deal. A nice clean ride is always fun.

Ok, it's a hybrid with no boost. It looks like he's trying and it's not a bad looking truck at all.

I may be wrong, but my understanding is the reason the Gen II do NOT have an exhaust exit out the driver’s side is because it would be right under the fuel door. Because of that and the possibility of someone fueling up and spilling some on a hot exhaust and possible fire is the reason the exhaust does not exit out the driver’s side.

I am thinking the reason the Gen III has it on both sides is maybe since it is not sticking out past the body there is no chance of fuel spilling on it and causing a fire. Like I said I am not sure…

As far as a poser I think it is fine for anybody to do what ever they want with their vehicle. I would agree that putting badges on something to make people think it is something it is not is wrong but other then that I think to each their own…
