I was going through an article in this Ford Parts mag and there was a real nice write up about Johnny and Sue from JLP It is on page 106. It says he went 13.02 @ 106 in a stock 01 Lightning off the show room floor. Then they talk more about his 10 second truck with 720 horse. Then at the bottom right there is a little bio. It says Best E.T. 10.04 @ 129mph Is that a typo or did Johnny go 10.04???


Sorry the pictures are so bad my scanner isnt working. And sorry ahead of time if this is false info. And sorry if this is accurate and I am letting the cat out of the bag. I am just curious if Johnny did go low 10's or if it was supposed to be 10.40.

I believ it was meant to be 10.34, not .04. I noticed it & asked Rob the same question.

dont know about stock but i know for sure his best ET is 10.44 because dale is still in the lead with a 10.38 as the quickest L

 

Johnny ran 10.37 right after Dale ran the 10.38...both those guys ran their #'s with N20...I'm gonna catch their *** without it

I cant wait till they get their trucks dialed in and have them running 100%. Because Johnny went 10.44 without nitrous right? Now he went 10.37 with juice? What kind of shot was he running then? You'd think there would be more of a difference when he jumped up to sprey... Good luck going for 9's guys.

I don't think Johnny has set up his nitrous yet. So the 10.37 is WITHOUT spray.
