Angry Now included in with every new Head!

A free scratch on the truck Picked up the truck today after 4 days of "It will be ready tomorrow". When I pull up to get it, I notice right away a big scratch on the front. I pointed it out to the service guy on duty. I have to call the service manager tomorrow since he was gone already. Now I'll have to deal with their body shop and more crap..

Valley Ford in St louis - never again!

Valley Ford replaced my rear window seal, and left several small scratches. Also the door panel had greasy hand prints, and the floor mats were dirty.

They will replace parts without any hassle. They replaced my fog lights, and a contaminated MAF (K&N oil), without any questions. But, they left the truck a mess.

Oh please Ford - send me a service survey!

My invoice shows $2580 for a head change. It was all covered under warranty, but that sure sounded high. How much have people out of warranty paid for a single head replacement?

I got one of my heads replaced under warranty, and the service guy who helped me was saying a single head runs $500 bucks ... I guess you mostly pay for labor, though that seems like alot of labor for installing a head.

The labor ran over $1400. The other expensive item is:

2L3Z*6049*BA Cylinder Head, Valves, CAM $840.49

Valley Ford charged nearly $1500 for fog lights, rear window seal, power steering pump, and MAF replacements on my truck.

I still have a service survey that I need to send in.

Maybe they just overcharge us O'Fallon guys because we have no SVT dealer in our county?

Too bad it is wet tonight or I'd give the truck a good run to make sure everything is good. I need to earn a little respect from the White GMC Sierra that hangs around the Mobile on M.
