Have any close up pics of the texture/finish? How about the edges? This thing (easily) paintable?

Thumbs up

I purchased one a couple of weeks ago. I'm well pleased with it especially considering the price (638.00 shipped)!! It took me a little over the 15 min. to install but I had to trim the front of my factory bed liner just a little. No big deal!! It's perfect for a black truck like I have. The fit/finish was good as well! No Photos though!

Yes, it is.

Very nice, although to respond to someone else, I am not sure they would look really good painted, since they are textured. Also plastic is more difficult to paint than fiberglass, and is flexible, so there is a greater likelihood of paint cracking if something heavy is placed on it.

I think they look great black, and match the other plastic on the truck (rear window and bumper caps), and that cover looks like it covers the grey bed caps (and why the hell did Ford put grey plastic on the bedsides and black plastic everywhere else???)

Nice Pics!

Yup. The fit on mine is simply perfect.

I just can't fault this cover. And most around these parts realize that I can fault just about anything.

Dam
I guess my hopes of you not liking it, and me getting yours for a great deal just went out the window

Being over weight with a schitty back is my reason for never getting one. Truly thinking about what a pain in the **** it would be to have to wax it all the time has just kept me away from them, it's that simple.

Schitt I can put a coat of was on my entire L in Prob 15 minutes on a good day, we really do have a very easy Vehicle to keep clean. Roofs high enough to not worry about doing everytime, no trunk lid to deal with, etc..... But this on a Black Lightning seems to be a all around winner and no waxing to worry about. Armorall is much easier to deal with

EDIT

Are you sure you still like yours Tim
