which spark plugs now ?

i've used denso's it20-22 and i really like them, but they are a bit pricey.

i'm now using ngk br7ef, and they suck, sloppy idle and misfires.

so what other plug can i use, that i can actually find

i know about autolite ar103's (that ar93's with resistor) but i don't know how many people have used them/liked them

there is those silver stars, but i haven't heard any comments on these yet either

what do you guys think i should use?

btw i'm using 6lb pulley and the usual mods

I didn't have any luck with Denso's. I am running TR6"s with my 5# lower and 2.8 upper, no problem...5k and counting...JR

There is the TR6IX Iridium (Part# 3689).

I found them for $6.49 each at O'Reillys. They are $7.60 at sparkplugs.com.

I'm with you Probleminfected. Even though I had excellent service out of my TR6s the idle and off idle smoothness / response was downright crappy.

So for now I'm back to denso IT-20s. It's a very expensive plug but seems to be ultra smooth and I've had no problems as of yet.

OT a little: A plug I run in EVERY other car I own is the bosch platinum +2s (even in a 12psi turbocharged car). I absolutely LOVE them. The noticable throttle response is amazing. So.... I spoke to a Bosch engineer about some for my modded Lightning. Seems they have'nt done any hard testing yet and recommend not using any at this time for anyone who's pushing more than stock psi.
