KB

Pro, twin screw, lots more power, less heat, uhhhh.. more potential

con, cost, addictive,

porting

pro, cheap, effective,

con not as powerful, pretty much the end of reaping any further potential for your truck using that blower, long term effects yet to be known.

I think it really depends how far that you want to go in the long run, do you plan on going built, is it just a daily driver, track toy, weekend toy? If you have the money to just throw a KB on it then why not, but it all really depends on where you want to go in the future with the truck.

Go KB. I think that the ported Eatons is definitely not the way to go. I contemplated that as well, and am just going to run a KB when the funds are available for that AND a bottom end buildup.

Go 4 the gusto

Get the KB, lots mo' power but it'll cost mo' too. That's what I did and I'm very happy with the insane numbers on stock cams and stock heads, 559 HP @ the wheels and 667 ft. lbs. Torque. I have a built bottom end for peace of mind, now I need a cage. When will it end, John H.

I have a KB, full exhaust, Predator, alcohol injection (more timing), cai, and run 17 psi at shift point (will be dropping as mine is a stock longblock). There is NO WAY I'm making anything resembling 559 rwhp. Do you run nitrous? If not, what is the secret?

Still finalizing my Predator tune so I don't have any numbers. It made about 430 rwhp with the Eaton (16 psi) and stock exhaust. I added the KB and LT's/cats and although it feels stronger, I've done enough chassis dyno tuning to know it is not even close the 560 rwhp. I'd guess maybe 485 or so. I'm trying to get his secret for so much power on so little boost!
