Off-Road Y Pipes

I'm gettin ready to buy my first L (Yay for me) and was curious on who, and how much, or where I can find an off-road Y pipe set up for the L. I've found one from Bassani, or Borla, don't remember, but it's 408 bucks, which is obsured when I can just cut the cats out and but in a piece of aluminized in their place for way less. I was hopin' to find 'em for similar priced to all my Mustang stuff for around like 250ish but so far no luck.

Thanks guy's
Dustin

It's all about supply and demand

Mustang stuff = 100's of manufacturers = cheap or competitive prices

Lightning stuff = limited manufacturers = higher prices

cut them yourself. You can probably even find a used setup that someone took off to put full length headers on. I would sell you mine but I cut mine into about 20 pieces because I have a bad temper when I spend an hour to get one part off

And what would this number be for? I have a few friends in exhaust shops around here that did my 3in. for my Mustang, I'm sure they could do a little cut and pasting, I just didn't know if any manufacturer MADE an off-road Y for cheaper than 400 freakin' bucks.

BTW Thanks guy's

I don't know if Magnaflow makes an off road mid pipe setup, but Larry (****) does sell the ones WITH cats for $299 + S&H. They are direct fit replacements.

That's where I got mine. It sounds awesome, and frankly I can't imagine how loud it would be without ANY cats.

Not really wantin the cats off for noise, just one less thing to burn out and have to replace, and one less restrictive passage for exhaust to go through.

Keep 'em commin' guy's!
