The new Hemi trucks can only muster a 16.1??!! With all the hype, you'd think that you'd get a little more than that. My 5,500 lb Lariat 4x4 can do a 16.4. What's the displacement on that so-called hemi?

Ok, most guys here with lightnings run at least 4lbers, intake, and chip. That's pretty much a standard list of mods. Most of the time guys hit high 12's with this mod list. Now, rattle a list of cars that you see day to day that run high 12's.
I see z06's a bit, i actually have seen mecedes e55's a lot in los angeles. Uhhhh, i see a viper here and there, maybe once a month. Hmmmmmm, i dunno too many other cars out there in the high 12's. Wrx's are good competion since they are a pretty big mod crowd as well. Hmmmm, help me out here, what else? Supras here and there. I'm sure there are a ton of faster vehicles out there but how often do you see em on the road?
In terms of trucks, only other competition is the srt-10, and the typhoon or something both of which i have never ever seen on the road. I said pretty much fastest on the road because stock for stock, you've got basically two very rare contenders, and modding trucks to go fast isn't exactly the most common practice.
Oh yeah and prosches, i've been seeing a ton of porshe turbos out there in LA. Tried messing with one in a g35 coupe, that thing whoops ***
Oh and being "second" as you would like to believe is a far second when it's 13.6 or so versus about 16.
