Silverado SS, nice headlights

Washed the L and took it out for a spin. At the first lights, behind the car next to me I see some headlights that look like the new Chevy truck lights. When the light turns green I speed up a little, and see on my side rear view mirror SS so I knew it was a Silverado SS. I do a little kick down and signal to turn on to the highway. So the SS follows, I knew he wanted some so I didnt speed up that quick. I see that he kicks down starts catching up, as soon as he is almost by my door, I kicked down and started leaving him behind until I remembered I didnt have no race fuel in the L, since my chip is burned for race fuel. I let go he passes by didnt do no signs, he recognized. They have nice head lights, specially when you see them in your rear view mirror.

You are running a single program chip thats only tuned for race fuel? Any of you guys know if it would make that much of a difference with him running on 93 pump gas anyways? I wouldn't think it would make it unsafe? maybe someone can chime in.

I would have let him nose infront of me and put the hurt on him then. But I guess thats just me .

93? 91 here in Cali, and it does make a difference. My L pings with 91 premium thats why I let go.

My L is not a daily driver. I sometimes run it on just 91 but stay off the pedal.

I would not run that combo with TR6's, even on race gas. I run NGK BR7EF's with just a 5 lb pulley................................

I was talking to a co-worker and he said that an 04' SS with a supercharger would take an L any day since they are all wheel drive. I defended the L's honor and said he was on crack. Anyone elses thought?

Even with a Supercharger, they are high 13's at best. They run 15.0's stock, with a blower, high 13's.
