Hey guys I am the new guy on board and this is probably a stupid question. Have you been challenged to race with your lightening. To me who would want to race a lightening the fastest truck out there. But ther are some ****y guys out there who would think different, Tell me whove you raced and how you did.? I love this site its great a lot of great people. Thanks for any replies

Ya 150 guy, you always got someone wanting a piece of the L. I have had anything from 89 CRX's to 03 Stang GT's try to race me. I am waiting on a challenge still

Of course this gray beard of mine my influence that with the younger drivers.
I also have stock exhaust but I been thinking about putting in a line lock just to tease folks at the light.

Not many peeps REALLY want a piece of a Lightning ... There
are a few 9 and 10 Mootangs that try it all the time, but we
recognise a fast car when we hear it ... Besides, who wants
to race FORDS ... The 'vettes now ... that's another story....

And as the Police Officer that pulled me over said "The LAST
thing I expected when I pulled over this truck was an elderly
gentlemen ... You have a nice night sir ... I gotta go chase some
ricers ..."

I hardly ever get challenged in the L. It's only when I'm driving the Focus that I get challenged-- usually by Pickup trucks...go figure?
