i went to the englishtown swap meet today to see if i can find a pair of slicks or nitto drag radials. Well as luck would have it i ran into a kid about my age 19 or 20 selling not 1 not 2 not 3 but 4 almost brand new goodyear f'1s for 100 bucks. and i swear this kid had to be high because the worst looking tire problable had 2 thousand miles on it and it wasnt beat on. The best part is that i was going to go and buy 4 new goodyears on dicount tire on monday. I guess you can say i made out big time.

 

I always LOVE finding deals.


it's always good when you can find a deal, parts are expensive enough.

Did they burn your hand when you picked th em up, as in HOT?

 

Or better yet, do they hold air?

Sounds like a heck of a deal, but be very cautious when buying used unmounted tires. I've had some that had puncture holes that were undetectable until you tried mounting them and put air to them. Hopefully they work out great.

 

I would sell those two to you but all 4 are bald on mine so sorry about that. and yea i thought the same thing but there was the kids lightning right there with the 20 inch boyd smoothies ii on them so i took his word for it but when i got home i looked at them all very carefully and everything seems okay. will see on monday when i put them on
