Getting full exhaust soon

Just ordered Dynatech headers and a magnaflow single muffler catback. Anybody have any comments on this setup?

Actually, some people were commenting on Dynatech recently-sounds like the best option currently

Those Dynatechs are so tempting simply by looking at them in person. REM has a display with the headers, cats and catback. Just looking at the display makes you reach for the VISA/MASTERCARD!

I am still debating on whether or not to get them though. The boost loss still concerns me a bit and I know people say lost boost doesn't mean lost horsepower but I have trouble believing that sometimes. I don't know......maybe if I were to add a 2lb pulley I'd compensate for the loss right?

Actually youre right on with that statement. You can compensate with a pulley, but you might as well gpo for 4lbs while youre at it.

loss of boost DOES NOT = loss of power.

Boost is a measure of backpressure in a system. The less backpressure, the better.

you are still pumping the same amount of air through the system.

The dynatechs I am running still look awesome! I have had them for a year now and live in South Florida (lots of rust) and NO rust...and they still shine! No leaks. Absolutely the easiest to install. Great product.

REM has them, along with hiflow cats, mid-pipes and maggies for a reasonable price.

I actually found them a bit cheaper (headers only) at www.rpmoutlet.com for a mere 1088.95. This includes the headers, oxygen sensor extension, mid-pipes AND high flow cats. Not a bad deal. They advertise as MOTOBLUE but are actually DynaTechs.

The $1088 price at RPM outlet doesn't include a catback unfortunately. I'm getting all of my stuff from a friend down in Miami who now owns an exhaust shop. I've done this entire install once before on someone elses truck. Not really looking forward to doing it again.

yes...the price does include headers. I bought mine and it costs a bit over 1100.00 for the headers, mid-pipes, high flow cats and O2 sensor extnesions. NO KIDDING. I bought my maggy from a friend.
