I've got 700 bucks for some rumble..

I have 500-700 bucks to spend and I want to spend it on my exhaust so I can get a bit of "rumble". I don't want something that I can't hear my stereo when I'm going down the highway. Something that looks good and sounds great. What do you guys suggest?

I bought a spintech aftercat (w/x pipe)

Was right at $400 delivered. I like it a lot and it sounds very similar to a flowmaster. (which I like the sound of)

I was concerned it was gonna hurt power but the dyno showed it did'nt.

Can sorta hear it on my vid (web page)

Rich

Get a Magnaflow catback from **** over on NLOC, awesome stainless steel exhaust, no drone, sounds much better at WOT than stock and is only $295 plus shipping I actually sold my jdm silverbullet to get it, silverbullet was just too much for me especially on very long rides..

Don't WASTE your money on a bassani system for $600 when you can get the same flawless quality and stainless steel construction of a magnaflow catback and a pair of magnaflow midpipes with hi-flow cats from **** on nloc for the same price.

It will sound better, make more power, still be a 100% stainless steel polished system, and you don't have to deal with bassani's warranty department, and the magnaflow system clears all traction bars because of it's design (does not go back and sweep forward again to place the tips like the bassani, JDM and REM systems.

Let's just assume for the minute that the materials are equal.
Why would Magnaflow sell a product that others are selling for
more money, if they could get the same amount for theirs?

Companies are in bidness to make money. The most they can.
If it was worth more than $300 they would SELL it for more.

List price on the magnaflow catback for the L is well over 600, 630-650 I believe in fact.

**** at NLOC happens to have an incredibly good deal on them.

The bassani also uses more material and has more bends. Making perfectly set mandrel bends costs a lot, and that gets passed down to you.

Magnaflow's very nice. I have them on my supercharged lincoln and on my G/F's 03 Harley truck.

They sound great and look great. They flow well, are inexpensive and work.
