Latest (post Apten) dyno numbers

I just got back from the dyno. I drove over and we hooked the truck up (no time for cool down). These are SAE numbers. Before the Apten with long tubes, four lb. lower, and PSP chip I pulled 405.2 H/P and 50? TQ. I did a pull after the Apten a few weeks ago and the A/F was way fat (10.0). Today with a reburn from Sal it pulled 435.6 H/P and 502.0 Tq. I have a towing setting on my four way chip and it pulled 405.8 H/P and 492.9 Tq. on the towing setting. I am very happy with the Apten mod. I wonder two things. First, how many L's make more power than mine at only 12lbs. of boost (maybe tons, I'm just curious). Second, How much of the power is because of the long tubes (what is normal with 12lbs. boost, chip, and the Apten mod)?

numbers

hp numbers seem right on I would expect your torque numbers to be alot higher though to be honest. Maybe in the 535 ftlbs area. Anyone agree.

Nope - seem to lose some TQ from the porting, but you gain it in the curve - flatter and stronger in the big end.

see sig...I have similar mods, but instead of long tubes, just the hi-flow cats.

I know of a truck that makes 428RWHP with a 4lb lower, LT's, Catted Mid pipe, Magnaflow Catback, Air Filter and E fan.

Unported Blower, stock upper, Stock T/B and a SCT Tune on pump gas.

If he ports the blower.. he should make over 450.

I'm going to kick some dirt on a few Vette drivers for the next two days. Driving school at MSR south of Ft. Worth.

With a 4# lower (not sure my actual boost numbers), Apten, and a safe Predator tune I pulled 398/477 SAE. I'm pretty sure it was my tune that is holding me back also since it's tuned for 91 octane and A/F numbers in the high 10's. I've seen trucks with pretty much just 4# and Apten around 415hp with a good tune.

I'm running 12 pounds of boost, but here at 5,500 ft it takes a 4# and a 1.5 upper to get there. With an apten and a REM tune, stock headers and cats I've pulled 445 SAE RWHP/529 RWTQ. The downside is the real (non-adjusted for altitude, heat, humidity, etc,) rwhp was 365. But it's enough to be quicker than most L's around.
