Unhappy Tribute to my dead Lightning.

As many of you know my truck threw a rod(s) a couple of days ago. I just wanted to share eveything I did with my 66,000 miles of fun. It's sad for me to look at now but at the same time I know that soon I will have her back together and ready for more good times and *** spankings.

This is for you baby! Get well soon!

Her dyno tune video: 411 RWHP 526 RWTQ

Her dyno graph: Dyno Graph

Her A/F chart: A/F Chart

Her 12.39 run from the stands: 12.39 Stand View

Her 12.39 run from inside the truck: 12.39 Front View

Her 12.39 grudge match against a nicely modified f-body (listen to his cams! ): 12.39 Grudge Match

The National Lightning Owners Club places her 96th as the quickest Gen 2 Lightning in the nation. Modifications include a 4-program Autologic chip, PSP 6lb lower pulley, PSP conical filter kit, PSP FASTair induction system, Precision Industries 2400 stall multi-disc lock-up converter, Factory Tech 4R100 transmission with a 2C accumulator valve body, and Truck-Traks slapper style traction bars.

I'll be back bitches! I'm Rick James!

Pretty cool bro... I know it has to hurt to have broken it Dont worry you will have it back up and running bigger and better When you get the new motor done and back running, Im calling you out for your first race

Nice win on that F-body, what did he wind up running?

You've got yourself a race buddy!

I think he ran a 12.5 or so. He was on my *** the entire way.

AWSOME Yea Ive had a few races that where close with my 01, they where always a blast!!!! One race comes to mind... At the time I was running 12.2s at HRP, lined up with a Red Z06 that had been running between 12.5 and 12.7 that night. The lights came down and you know the rest.... after that race, they guy and I chatted a while... however he refused to race me anymore.. and was gun shy about racing any red lightnings from that point on

Well, that was nice of the Z06 owner to stop and chat with you. The guy in the f-body just gave me the finger and headed to the gates.

As soon as possible man. I paid the tax man 1500 today so my motor fund is hurting bad. I've been real busy at work this week so I'm going to sit down this weekend and figure everything out. I'll give you a call.

I LOVED THAT TRUCK

Steele,

Of course we all give each other ***** all the time, but your truck was indeed the bomb. Something to look up to. I just paid the tax man $1800 myself, i feel the pain on that one Anyway, you know we'll all be here to help ya with what we can, and I cant wait for ya to get your truck up and running again so we can race (did ya hear, im no longer in the 14's!! yay!!)

Give me a call tomorrow, I'll buy the first round o' drinks down at broadway bar
