Tech Q. boost actuator (techincal)

OK I adjusted my boost actuator according to http://home.midsouth.rr.com/lightningpage/tips.html

Now I have the lever NOT touching the stop, it is VERY VERY CLOSE though. (pursuant to the website instructions)

Now when the engine is running I give it gas the Lever GOES DOWN to the stop. But it doesn't touch the stop, again it comes close.

My question is this:
Is the valve on the back of the supercharger, that releases the boost FULLY CLOSED if the lever is not touching the stop>?????

DOes anyone have a Supercharger that is not installed that can check? See if the valve is fully closed when the lever is just before the stop.

PLEASE? Anyone...

Ok, I have an extra blower and I went and checked the boost actuator for you, the lever has to be touching the stop or its not closed all the way, so your loosing some boost. so the answer is no, if the lever isn`t touching the stop its not fully closed.

thank you very MUCH.

I'll have to readjust that again... to get it touching the "stop"
it is a PITA to adjust.

When I read that site, I thought it said once it touches the stop, raise just so it is barely touching. Mine is not touching at all but close.

But again, Thanks a TON!
